Looking to adopt, foster, or help a cat in need?

Puppy Kitty NYC is a This 501(c)(3) organization with the mission to save homeless, sick, and injured animals on the streets of NYC.

TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) is one of their primary focus areas in order to control the feline overpopulation problem. TNR is the humane and effective approach for stray, community, and feral cats which is used to help stop the breeding cycle of cats and therefore improves their lives while preventing reproduction.

In a Trap-Neuter-Return program, the cats are humanely trapped (with box traps), brought to a veterinarian to be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, eartipped (the universal sign that a community cat has been neutered and vaccinated), and then returned to their outdoor home.

All animals who come under the care of PKNYC receive quality medical care. Feral cats are trapped, fixed/vaccinated, and returned back to their home outside. Friendly cats or young kittens are socialized and then placed in loving forever homes.
